Glenfarclas 1968 er blevet udråbt til årets importerede whisky i USA. Malt Advocate Magazine stod bag de flotte ord på "WhiskyFest" som blev afholdt i New York. "This single-malt whisky has been aged 36 years in sherry casks. It has a dark amber-gold color with a complex full-bodied nose. The aromas are intense, with rich tones of honey, vanilla, liquorice, cinnamon, raisins, and a hint of peat smoke while the finish is smooth, smoky, and long lasting."
