DISTILLERY MANAGER The Ardnamurchan Distillery An exciting opportunity to manage Scotland's newest Scotch whisky distillery located on the idyllic Ardnamurchan peninsula, some 50 miles west of Fort William. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for whisky, possess exceptional managerial qualities and interpersonal skills along with previous distillery experience in a managerial position. The responsibilities will be wide and varied including all aspects of distillation, HMRC, SEPA, Compare, HSE, HR, waste management, maintenance, maturation and filling. In addition, the position will require at least 9 months of pre-production project management, liaising with all aspects of construction and equipment build, ensuring all licences are in place and necessary materials purchased. Furthermore, you will be required to ensure effective budget generation and control. In short, this is a highly responsible role in a magnificent new distillery, requiring a key figure to ensure production of one of the world's finest single malt whiskies.
