Der er kommet en speciel aftapning af Great King Street

The New York Blend is a custom Limited Edition created especially for this famous city. It is inspired by the origins of Scotch whisky in the US in the late nineteenth century and recipes from this Golden Age of blending, reinterpreted in a Compass Box style.
Back then, Blended Scotch featured much higher proportions of malt whisky than recipes of today. The New York Blend aligns perfectly with our desire for Great King Street to offer different blends for different regions, people and tastes.

Bottled in August of 2012, The New York Blend it is a one-off, limited release of 1,650 bottles. A hearty, full-flavoured style of Scotch whisky with notes of smoke, dried fruits and malty complexity.

Den 18. september kommer der to nye aftapninger af Great King St.

"We've turned on the Compass Box whisky taps, given the old creative juices a squeeze and done a wee bit of experimenting. The result is our next two new limited release whiskies of the autumn: The Great King Street Experimental Batch I & II. While we mull over the next permanent member of the GKS range we've decided to release a tiny batch of a couple of things we've been working on to see what you think. They are snappily named TR-06 and 00-V4 and we will be setting up a page on our website where you can give us your feedback. They will be released from Wednesday 18th September onwards in Europe, Asia, South Africa and Canada so watch this space! As they are 50cl they will sadly not be available in the US (sorry!). We hope you like them!"

Sweet, fruity with notes of blueberry jam, ripe plums, candied oranges and toffee popcorn.
A one-off, limited release of 3,439 bottles.

Batch #TR-06 (Blue)

Complex, smoky and aromatic with notes of seaweed, mint, salt spray and an underlying dried fruit sweetness.
A one-off, limited release of 3,805 bottles.
