Glenrothes 24-yo 1988 Whisky-Doris, 49,3% Sherry Hogshead 7317 - til 100 €
Bunnahabhain 35-yo 1976 Whisky-Doris, 49,1% Sherry Hogshead 6112 - til 140 €
Flaskerne vil normalt også kunne købes hos Whiskybase og Whisky Fässle hvis man ikke har tysk adresse.

"We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the 2nd Editon 100% Islay which will be released on the 1st of September!
This is the second 100% Islay release from Kilchoman and has been produced from barley grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at the distillery.
It has been aged for over 3 years in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon barrels."

En ny Longrow - afløseren for Longrow CV
Colour: Dark amber.
Nose: Very creamy, vanilla custard. The smoke develops gradually, rather than overpowering the other aromas present. Toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruits appear over time.
Palate: Incredibly well balanced - rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. The smoke is always present, washing over the palate in waves, like the soft billows of smoke from the kiln.
Finish: The gentle smoke lingers and lingers leaving you yearning for more!

Compass Box The Entertainer limited edition blended Scotch whisky
At Selfridges we have always loved the whiskies that Compass Box creates, so when we decided we wanted to produce a whisky to show our passion for the category, Compass Box was the obvious choice. The brief to them was something that challenges the norm, that seduces and excites. Stylistically, this Blended Scotch Whisky harkens back to the turn of the 20th century, when blends contained higher proportions of malt whisky to grain whisky, and when the whiskies themselves were peatier and were aged in more active casks. All of this yielded whiskies with greater concentration of flavour. The Entertainer is a raucous, full-blown, extravaganza of a whisky. It's rich, it's decadent, it's smoky and it's surprising. Only 1000 bottles of this limited blend have been produced.

Den belgiske Glenfarclas entusiast Luc Timmermans, som blandt andet står bag Thosop aftapningerne, har en 1968'er i Glenfarclas på trapperne.
Der skulle komme 175 flasker i alt.

The Balvenie - DoubleWood - 17 Years Old - 43% - RRP £75
Nose: A wonderful note of syrup-covered soft fruit hits first - think strawberries, blueberries and gooseberry, mixed with golden syrup, rich honey and brown sugar - with aromas like this, it could rot your teeth from 20 yards away! Given time, the vanilla notes emerge with fresh cherries, some kirsch notes and a hint of woody spice. Superbly balanced and unquestionably a Balvenie.
Palate: Spices galore (clove, cinnamon and a touch of chilli) mix with fresh apple juice, brown sugar, fat juicy raisins and sweet malt. Absolutely wonderful stuff - as drinkable as the 12 year old, but with more refinement, complexity and wisdom.
Finish: Some citrus notes develop late on the palate, with a darker malt note, (extract) rich bittersweet cocoa and freshly roasted coffee beans.

Ardbeg changed hands between 1996 and 1997, since then the distillery has only released a Ten Year Old with an age statement. So it is pretty darn exciting *massively massively exciting* to get to try an Ardbeg with an age statement and for it to be distilled before the takeover. Thankfully we have bottled this eighteen year old Ardbeg all for your delectation!
This Ardbeg is part of our Single Cask Whisky range and was bottled from a refill ex-sherry hogshead at a natural cask strength of 56.3%abv, without chill-filtration or any pesky colouring and with a limited outturn of 252 bottles. This is rare, peaty single malt from one of Islay’s most acclaimed distilleries.

Jeg sad ved tasterne og havde mulighed for at købe et par stykker. Men nu når man ikke ubetinget Ardbeg fan, så faldt valget på et par Single Cask Glenfarclas i stedet...Iflg. Gal hos WhiskyIsrael gik der 2 timer - så var den udsolgt...

Nose
A luscious balance of succulent sherry aromas explode in honey drizzled golden sultanas spiced by warm oak and gentle ginger.
Palate
Intense toffee and cocoa cascade into the rich sherry soaked dark fruits. Zested orange explodes in the long alcohol infused chocolate fondant.
Finish
Long and lingering.
